Let’s talk fire safety.

Let’s talk water sources.

Here’s what the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission doesn’t want you to know about water:

San Francisco can use seawater to put out any fire.

Now let’s ask Mayor Daniel Lurie:

Why is your house protected with high-pressure hydrants that use seawater 🚒 🌊

But two thirds of San Francisco aren’t?

These neighborhoods are unprotected 🔥🔥🔥

Bayview Heights • Crocker-Amazon • The Excelsior • Ingleside • Little Hollywood • Merced Manor • Mission Terrace • The Parkside • The Portola • The Richmond, 12th Avenue to the ocean • Sunnyside • The Sunset, 19th Avenue to the ocean • Oceanview • Stonestown

Vote No on Prop A

And make sure San Francisco has Equal Fire Protection For All.

This photo shows the firestorm in San Francisco’s Marina District on October 17, 1989, the day of the Loma Prieta earthquake.

Led by Division Chief Frank Blackburn, the San Francisco Fire Department used seawater to stop the firestorm. AWSS is the City’s high-pressure water system that uses seawater to fight fires.

Since 1913, AWSS has protected only the east side of San Francisco. Two thirds of San Francisco are still unprotected, including Bayview Heights, Sea Cliff, and Stonestown.
